Ticking

Minutes, hours and days pass
ticking away slowly
patience you must have
for nothing comes easy

Get nervous,
(after all you’re human)
Make mistakes, but know this
you can’t run away from destiny

Dance in the rain
Frolic in the chaos
(and remember)

Ticking goes the clock
time may pass, but
you’re my destiny
